刘丹敏  研究员,博士生导师

1982.09-1986.07,中南工业大学材料学院,获工学学士学位;1996.9-1999.3,北京工业大学大学材料学院,获工学硕士学位。2002.03-2006.06,北京工业大学材料学院,获工学博士学位。 1986.07-1994.07, 在中南大学工作。1994年7月至今在北京工业大学工作。其间2006.08-2007.08及2009.06-09,在美国国家标准与技术研究所 ( NIST) 访问。自1986年以来,一直从事X射线衍射分析技术与应用、中子衍射分析与应用、新型功能材料探索、材料性能与结构关系研究等方面的实验和理论工作。长期承担或参加国家863、国家973、国家自然科学基金等项目工作。发表论文80余篇,拥有授权国家发明专利10余项。
       近年主要从事新型室温磁致冷材料的研究,通过先进的制备手段得到性能优异的材料,并与美国NIST(National Institute of Standards and Technology)中子研究中心(NCNR)合作,采用中子衍射等分析手段对材料进行晶体结构和磁结构的分析研究,得到非常有意义的结构和性能关系的有关信息。研究成果在2009年被美国物理学会网站、纽约时报等几十家重要媒体和网站报道。
主要研究方向:1.材料微观结构表征;2.新型功能材料制备、材料微观结构与性能关系研究。目前研究内容:1.新型室温磁致冷材料;2.新型稀土硼化物功能材料;3.大型构件的应力研究;4.材料的择优取向及其与性能关系研究。
